THE SHAPING PROCESS

" The event is meaningful only if the coordination of time and place is witnessed."
Einstein

Each time we step into the studio time and space change, our bodies differ in how tired, how warm, how flexible, how sensitive to external or internal stimuli they are...

With each repetition we witness the coordination of our timing and position differently. Thus, every repetition of the material is a source of new communication.

The muscle memory smoothens the transitions, the weight finds a way to let the material flow, the mind relaxes and gives into the body. By not being so careful about what happens in our own movement we become aware of ourselves as a "couple", both moving through space sharing a centre of gravity as if we were the same being.
